In this game, children must find the different symbol in a grid. It is a simple way to practise visual selective attention, concentration and impulse control.

Look at the grid and click on the symbol that is different from the rest. You can generate as many activities as you want and choose between three difficulty levels.

Tip: start with the Basic level (3×3). When the child feels comfortable, move to Intermediate (4×4) and then Advanced (5×5) to increase the challenge.

What is ADHD?

ADHD (Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder) is a neurodevelopmental condition that mainly affects sustained attention, organisation, impulse control and, in some cases, motor activity.

It is not a matter of willpower or children “choosing” to behave in a certain way. It is a different way of processing the world, which can bring challenges but also strengths such as creativity, intuition, divergent thinking and high energy to solve problems.

Visual, short activities with immediate feedback —like this one— can help train attention and maintain focus, both at school and at home. They work well for many children, with or without ADHD.
